The cheap eff icient rail transportation alsoment that Cheltenhams businesses had to compete against goods constructby mass production in larger urban centers to the south. accordingly theeconomy of Cheltenham would rise. The Credit River produce lots of Hydroelectric power for the battalion of Cheltenham. The two main reasons why the site was chosen for a town was thetransportation produced by the C.N.R. and the hydro electric produced fromthe Credit River.
