You should always try and keep the person reading your essay in the right frame of mind. If they're under stress or not as well-disposed towards your views as you are, they're more likely to tune out your words and the rest of your material.By reading through the essay a few times, you should be able to figure out if the writer has put their thoughts into the words, or if the per son's opinion is getting diluted in some way. We'll touch on this a little later.Next, I'd like to mention that one of the strongest and most effective aspects of a persuasive speech is that you need to grab people's attention with some form of promise. The writer that grabs your attention and who you want to hear speaking next is a very effective speaker.Let's look at an example. Let's say you're invited to speak at a gathering in your city, and all the people there tell you that if you show up, you'll be paid a large sum of money. In this situation, you are the speaker and the other people are people that you wish to meet. You will either attract people who would like to meet you, or people who would like to get paid. By showing up and speaking, you are successfully drawing in the attention of the audience. If you managed to get enough people to talk about the promise that you make, then you can probably count yourself as an expert on how you can draw in people to you.So, next tim e you are writing a persuasive speech, take a look at a sample of persuasive speech. After all, you don't need to write something completely unique and different for each person. It might just be a lot easier to use something that already has the desired effect.
